About Private Holland Tours

A small, independent team built on one simple idea: travel should feel personal.

Why We Exist

Private Holland Tours was born from a frustration. Too many visitors to the Netherlands were being herded onto crowded buses, rushed through windmills in 20 minutes, and sold a sanitized version of a country that actually has so much more to offer. We wanted to change that.

We are not a taxi service. We are not a bus company. We are a small team of passionate local driver-guides who genuinely love showing people the real Netherlands — the quiet canals of Giethoorn at 9am, the tulip fields at their peak, the hidden cheese farms, the family-run restaurants that never appear on TripAdvisor.

Our Promise

You will never feel rushed. You will never feel like a number. You will never be sold something you don’t want.

Every tour is private. Every day is built around you. Every driver-guide is someone we’d trust to show our own family around. That’s the whole philosophy.

What We Offer

Who We Serve

Most of our guests come from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Asia. Many are couples celebrating anniversaries, families with kids or grandparents, small groups of friends, and solo travelers who want the freedom of going wherever they want without joining 40 strangers on a bus.

We limit ourselves to just two tours per day. That’s a business decision — it keeps quality high and burnout low. If we’re fully booked, we’ll tell you honestly.

Based in Amsterdam. Trusted by Travelers.

We’re based in Amsterdam, fully registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK), and fully insured for passenger transport. Our driver-guides speak fluent English (some also speak Spanish, German, and Mandarin). All vehicles are new, clean, and maintained to premium standard.

If you have a question, just message us on WhatsApp. A real person reads every message. We reply within an hour, usually much faster.
